Trial of the Chicago 7 Deserves the WIN!

Only NINE days until the Oscars and I finally got 'round to watching the film nominated for Best Picture which I’ve most wanted to see, of all the nine nominees !  The Trial of the Chicago 7 .  Excellent film, and if you haven’t seen it yet, jump onto Netflix , grab some popcorn and get ready for two hours of an extremely well-made political, drama, thriller. This film has been in the works for several years, with development of the script beginning as far back as 2006 when Steven Spielberg was onboard as producer. But the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike kept the film at bay for some time. Development of the script ramped up and down many times from 2006-2018, during which time there have been a lot of changes to cast, producers and directors including the exit of Paul Greengrass, Ben Stiller, Seth Rogen, Will Smith and Steven Spielberg - in the end writer, Aaron Sorkin took on the role of director and kicked some ass!
