With the beginning of every New Year comes much thought, speculation and anticipation about the year’s upcoming Academy Awards nominations. Expectations and forecasts spin around as film lovers around the world are curious which films will be in the running! Theatres and cinemas around the globe have been locked down for most of 2020 and beyond, so very few of the contending films actually had Box Office exposure, if any sort of theatrical release whatsoever. However, most of the predicted contending films have been, or soon will be, aired on streaming sites like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney Plus and some are even streaming for free on YouTube.
